Who we are
Al Madeena Steel Works (المدينة لأعمال الحديد) is a steel fabrication company registered in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, with its workshop at Industrial Area, Mussafah, Abu Dhabi. In this policy “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Al Madeena Steel Works.
What we collect
We only collect information you choose to give us. Through this website that is:
- Enquiry and quotation forms — your name, company, phone number, email address, the service you are interested in, your project description, and any drawings or files you upload.
- Newsletter subscription — your email address.
- Chat assistant — the messages you type, and any contact details you provide within the conversation.
- Technical data — standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) used for security and to keep the site working.
Why we use it
- To prepare and send you a quotation, and to answer your enquiry.
- To carry out any work you subsequently order from us, and to contact you about it.
- To send technical newsletters, where you have asked to receive them.
- To protect this website against spam, abuse and automated attacks.
- To comply with our legal, tax and accounting obligations in the UAE.
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to anyone, and we do not use it for advertising profiling.
Drawings and technical files
Files you upload with an enquiry are treated as commercially confidential. They are used solely to prepare your quotation and to fabricate your order. They are not shared outside our estimating, engineering and production teams, and are not published or used as marketing material without your written permission.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become orders are retained for up to twenty-four months so we can pick up the conversation if you come back to us. Records relating to completed orders are retained for the period required by UAE commercial and tax law. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only where it is necessary to deliver your project or run our business:
- Delivery, transport and installation contractors engaged on your project.
- Our email, hosting and IT service providers, acting on our instructions.
- Professional advisers (accountants, auditors, legal counsel) where required.
- Government authorities where we are legally obliged to disclose.
Where our chat assistant is connected to an external AI provider, the content of your chat messages is processed by that provider to generate a reply. Do not enter confidential commercial information, passwords or payment details into the chat window.
Cookies and analytics
This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. If website analytics are enabled, they are configured to measure aggregate traffic only. Your browser may store small amounts of data locally to remember interface preferences; this is not shared with anyone.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, form submissions are validated and sanitised on the server, uploads are restricted by file type and size, and submission rate limiting is applied. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the data.
Your rights
You may ask us to provide a copy of the personal information we hold about you, correct anything inaccurate, delete it where we have no ongoing legal or contractual reason to keep it, or stop sending you marketing email. Write to almadeenasteelworks.llc@gmail.com and we will respond within thirty days.
Children
This website is directed at businesses and is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under eighteen.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes affecting how we use existing data will be notified to affected clients directly.
